Trusting blue puppy eyes and the unique sweet scent of puppy fur bonded Rick to Kelly as they embarked on his next adventure, spending nine months in Brisbane every year followed by three months holidaying in Albany. Romances add some spice and humour to his tale.
A feature of the book are the historic photographs and the 28 artistic illustrations of scenes where no photograph existed.
