Historically, Arizona has been an excellent gold mining state including numerous lost mines and legends.
The old prospectors did great job of locating and mining these areas, however they were in a hurry and never exhausted the placer gold areas.
"Gold is where you find it", maybe true ??, but what is truer, "Gold is found over known ground" !!!
